Fundraising
Welcome to the fundraising page! Our instrumental music program puts on a variety of fundraisers throughout the year. Fundraising is an on-going effort as it takes a lot of financial revenue to sustain a successful program such as the Simi Valley High School instrumental music department. While we ask families to make fair share contributions at the beginning of each season, that amount only goes toward some of the expenses needed to run the program. The boosters offer fundraisers to help keep our fair share contribution amounts as low as possible. In order for the boosters to offset the cost of running the program, we ask that all families be proactive in participating in fundraising throughout the year.
August Fundraisers
Pledge-Raise
This is an effortless fundraiser to raise funds for the program as we kick start the school year. All students in the music program are given a pledge page via our 99pledges.com platform. Students are encouraged to share their page with supporters near and far. It is as simple as sharing the link with a note via social media, text, e-mail, and etc. Each student has a minimum pledge goal of $200; however, we think everyone has an opportunity to exceed that. There are incentives during this fundraiser for the top student with the most pledged (overall), top student with the most pledged in each class period, and the group the with the most money pledged. Students have been randomly grouped with 8-10 others (across the program), and are encouraged to help one another. Donors may pledge to a specific student or donate to the general page. We can also accept cash or check if delivered in person (or mail), and will credit the appropriate account once received.
